About this image:
This is another January shot. I am sitting on the north bank of the Salmon River. The camera is only about 2 feet above the surface of the river. The second I saw it when I drove down the river access road, I knew what I wanted to see in the picture. This is taken with a very long lens so that I can really emphasize Somes Creek and have the river become a movement of blurred motion. I just love how the creek flows from darkness and the little sprinkles of orange hanging from the trees. Talking about sprinkles, there was a light misty sprinkle of rain coming down as I took this picture. Exposure settings: f45 for 1 minute 6 seconds. |
