About this image:
| There are a few camping sites and a trailhead here at Grider Creek. I came a couple of days prior to this day for scouting the best possible time for some backlighting on the leaves. I enjoy how the light coming through the leaves at top center of the image begins to glow really creating a wonderful softness to the entire image. What you don't see are several branches that I am sitting underneath in a very cramped, tiny little bitty area of rocks at creeks edge. It took a little bit of rubbing my muscles so that I could walk back to the truck. |
